Trisha Giaccio

I’ve been fortunate to spend nearly four decades immersed in Virginia’s legal world, and over 30 of those years as a certified paralegal. My journey began with a curiosity about how families navigate life’s most challenging transitions – death, inheritance, and the responsibility of managing another
person’s wishes. Early on, I witnessed firsthand how families can be overwhelmed when a loved one passes without proper planning, and I knew I wanted to help change that.

For the past 20 years, estate planning, conservatorship, and trust administration have been my passion. I’ve walked beside thousands of Virginian families – whether in Hampton, Newport News,
Williamsburg, Poquoson, Yorktown, Richmond, or beyond – explaining each step of the problem. process, listening to concerns, and celebrating the relief on their faces when assets are protected and futures are secured. I still remember my first time standing in a courtroom in Newport News,
filing a will under my client’s name; it was both humbling and empowering. Since then, I’ve developed deep, respectful relationships with local Court Clerks, Commissioners of Accounts Auditors, and legal staff in over 30 courthouses.

Those connections aren’t just professional – they’re
personal commitments to serve each community’s unique needs.
Over the years, I’ve also cultivated a network of bankers, CPAs, insurance agents, realtors, and bondsmen who share my commitment to making the probate process as painless as possible. I genuinely believe that if we put the right documents in place – properly titled assets, clear trusts, and
up-to-date wills – families can avoid the emotional and financial strain of probate altogether. But life doesn’t always work that way. If your family is already navigating probate – maybe because there wasn’t enough time to plan, or unexpected circumstances arose – I’m here to guide you with
patience, empathy, and a ‘tell-it-like-it-is’ approach.

In 2025, I’ve embraced secure virtual consultations and modern document management because I want to meet you where you are – whether that’s in a courtroom, at the kitchen table, or on your living room couch via video call. When you search for ‘estate planning paralegal near me,’ I hope
you’ll find my website’s clear, practical advice. And when we connect, my goal is simple: to listen, to reassure, and to give you confidence that you and your loved ones are protected.

As of 2026, I am now providing educational and training opportunities to law firms on the topics of probate and trust and administration.
