Trisha Giaccio
I’ve been fortunate to spend nearly three decades immersed in Virginia’s legal world, and over 37 years as a certified paralegal. My journey began with a curiosity about how families navigate life’s most challenging transitions – death, inheritance, and the responsibility of managing another
person’s wishes. Early on, I witnessed firsthand how families can be overwhelmed when a loved one passes without proper planning, and I knew I wanted to help change that.
For the past 20 years, estate administration, conservatorship administration, and trust administration have been my passion. I’ve walked beside thousands of Virginian families – whether in Hampton, Newport News, Williamsburg, Poquoson, Yorktown, Richmond, or beyond – explaining each step of the process, listening to concerns, and holding their hand through the process until we can finalize the estate conservatorship or trust. I still remember my first time standing in the courthouse in Newport News, probating for one of my clients; it was both humbling and rewarding to take that burden off of my client. Since then, I’ve developed deep, respectful relationships with local Court Clerks, Commissioners of Accounts and their Auditors, and legal staff in over 30 courthouses.
Those connections aren’t just professional – they’re
personal commitments to serve each community’s unique needs.
Over the years, I’ve also cultivated a network of bankers, financial advisors, CPAs, insurance agents, realtors, and bondsmen who share my commitment to making the probate process as painless as possible. I genuinely believe that if we put the right documents in place with properly titled assets, clear trusts, and designated beneficiaries, probate can be avoided. But life doesn’t always work that way. If your family is already navigating probate – maybe because there wasn’t enough time to plan, or unexpected circumstances arose – I’m here to guide you with
patience, empathy, and a ‘tell-it-like-it-is’ approach.
We have clients that live all over the world. When you live faraway, we can offer a Zoom consultation. And when we connect, my goal is simple: to listen, to reassure, and to give you confidence that you and your loved ones are not alone.
Since 2025 we have been providing educational and training opportunities to law firms on the topics of probate administration. We want to help train paralegals to do what we do. Its hard work but very rewarding to help our clients.
